Sacred Meals of Kindness: Ekadashi Annadaan Seva

Ekadashi is a sacred day of devotion, purity, and selfless service. It is believed that acts of kindness performed on this holy day bring peace to the heart and blessings to life. On this special occasion, Jeevandaan Foundation invites you to become a part of Regular Ekadashi Annadaan Seva, a humble campaign dedicated to feeding hungry and needy people with love, dignity, and compassion.

A Holy Day to Serve Humanity

While many people observe Ekadashi with fasting and prayers, there are many poor families, elderly people, children, and daily wage workers who struggle to find even one proper meal. For them, hunger is not limited to one day. It is a daily pain. Through this Annadaan Seva, Jeevandaan Foundation aims to bring food, hope, and relief to those who need it the most.

A plate of food may seem simple, but for a hungry person, it becomes a blessing. It gives strength to the body, comfort to the mind, and faith to the soul. Your support on Ekadashi can turn someone’s difficult day into a moment of relief and gratitude.

Why Annadaan on Ekadashi Matters

In Indian tradition, Annadaan is considered one of the purest forms of charity. Donating food is not just about filling an empty stomach; it is about sharing life, care, and humanity. On Ekadashi, this act becomes even more meaningful because the day is connected with devotion, discipline, and spiritual growth.

Jeevandaan Foundation believes that true devotion is reflected through service. When we feed the hungry, we serve society with kindness. When we help someone eat with dignity, we become a reason for their smile. This campaign is a step towards creating a compassionate community where no needy person is left unseen or unheard.

Who Will Benefit from This Seva?

The Regular Ekadashi Annadaan Seva is focused on supporting poor and needy individuals who face food insecurity. This includes elderly people living without support, underprivileged families, children from weaker backgrounds, homeless individuals, and daily wage earners who often miss meals due to financial hardship.

With every contribution, Jeevandaan Foundation works to arrange fresh, simple, and nutritious meals for those in need. The purpose is not only to provide food but also to offer respect, care, and emotional support to people who are silently suffering.

Your Small Donation Can Create Big Relief

You do not need to give a large amount to make a difference. Even a small donation can help provide food to someone who is hungry. Your one act of kindness can become a meal for a poor person, strength for an elderly mother, or hope for a child waiting for food.

By joining this campaign, you become a part of a meaningful journey of compassion. Your donation helps Jeevandaan Foundation continue regular food distribution on Ekadashi and reach more people who need support. Every meal served through your help becomes a symbol of humanity and faith.

Join Jeevandaan Foundation in This Noble Cause

This Ekadashi, let your devotion go beyond prayers. Let it become food for the hungry and comfort for the needy. Support Jeevandaan Foundation’s Regular Ekadashi Annadaan Seva and help us serve meals with love and respect.

Donate today and become the reason someone receives food, hope, and blessings on the sacred day of Ekadashi.

Frequently Asked Questions

Jeevan Daan Foundation, conducted by Satvikdaan Charitable Trust Foundation, was founded in 2023 after a heartbreaking loss—a close friend who couldn’t afford cancer treatment. That personal tragedy became our purpose. A group of social workers with 7+ years of ground-level seva united to ensure no one is lost to neglect, hunger, or helplessness. What began with small acts has grown into a movement of compassion.

We work where the need is—slums, schools, and vulnerable neighbourhoods. Support ranges from food packets and ration kits to school supplies and vocational tools. We start with whatever we have, mobilise caring people, and deliver practical help that restores dignity and hope.

Every donation is personal to us. Funds are directed to real, time-bound needs—nutrition, basic medical help, education materials, and livelihood support like vocational tools. We aim to share simple impact updates and stories so you can see how your kindness becomes relief on the ground.

You can donate to an active campaign, volunteer your time/skills, sponsor kits (meals, education, hygiene), or start a peer-to-peer fundraiser. If you’d like to collaborate as an individual, group, or organisation, just reach out—this is a people-powered effort.

A receipt is issued for every donation. If a campaign is eligible for tax benefits, it will be clearly mentioned on the campaign page and in the receipt details. For any documentation you need, please contact us and we’ll assist you.
