Ekadashi Compassion Drive: Nourishment and Healing for Gaumata
On every sacred Ekadashi, Jeevandaan Foundation invites compassionate individuals to support regular Gau Seva by providing nutritious fodder, clean water, medical treatment and safe care to hungry, injured, sick and abandoned cows.
Serve Gaumata on the Sacred Day of Ekadashi
Ekadashi is regarded as an auspicious day for prayer, self-discipline, kindness and charitable service. Many devotees observe fasting and offer prayers, but the spiritual meaning of this day also inspires us to care for living beings who cannot speak about their suffering. Serving Gaumata with food, water and medical assistance is a meaningful way to turn devotion into compassionate action.
Across streets, highways and rural areas, many cows struggle every day due to hunger, dehydration, untreated injuries, infections, weakness and abandonment. Some survive on plastic and waste, while others remain helpless because they do not receive medical attention at the right time. Jeevandaan Foundation works to provide regular support to such cows and help them live with greater safety, dignity and comfort.
Regular Gau Seva That Creates Lasting Relief
Gau Seva is not limited to a single feeding activity. Cows require continuous nourishment, fresh drinking water, proper shelter, timely medicines and regular monitoring. Through this campaign, Jeevandaan Foundation aims to arrange green fodder, dry fodder, nutritious feed and clean water for cows in need. Regular care helps weak cows regain energy and protects them from severe hunger and malnutrition.
Your contribution can support the daily needs of rescued and sheltered cows. Even a small donation can help provide a portion of fodder, medicines or basic care. When many compassionate donors come together, their combined support can create a dependable system of nourishment and protection for numerous Gaumatas.
Medical Treatment for Injured and Sick Cows
Injured cows often require immediate medical assistance. Road accidents, infected wounds, fractures, skin diseases, digestive problems and physical weakness can become life-threatening when treatment is delayed. Jeevandaan Foundation supports the treatment of suffering cows by helping arrange veterinary consultation, medicines, wound care, health check-ups and recovery support.
Medical treatment is followed by patient care, nutritious food and a safe environment where the cow can rest and recover. This process may continue for days or weeks depending on the condition of the animal. Regular donations help the foundation respond to emergencies while also continuing treatment for cows already under care.
Why Your Ekadashi Donation Matters
A donation made with compassion can become food for a hungry cow, medicine for an injured Gaumata or clean water for a weak and thirsty animal. Your support can also help arrange transportation, veterinary supplies and essential recovery care. Every contribution, regardless of its size, becomes an important part of this life-saving mission.
By supporting regular Ekadashi Gau Seva, you are not only participating in a sacred act of charity but also helping reduce the pain of helpless animals. Your kindness can give a suffering cow comfort, protection and another chance to live peacefully.
Become a Part of Jeevandaan Foundation’s Mission

Frequently Asked Questions
Jeevan Daan Foundation, conducted by Satvikdaan Charitable Trust Foundation, was founded in 2023 after a heartbreaking loss—a close friend who couldn’t afford cancer treatment. That personal tragedy became our purpose. A group of social workers with 7+ years of ground-level seva united to ensure no one is lost to neglect, hunger, or helplessness. What began with small acts has grown into a movement of compassion.
We work where the need is—slums, schools, and vulnerable neighbourhoods. Support ranges from food packets and ration kits to school supplies and vocational tools. We start with whatever we have, mobilise caring people, and deliver practical help that restores dignity and hope.
Every donation is personal to us. Funds are directed to real, time-bound needs—nutrition, basic medical help, education materials, and livelihood support like vocational tools. We aim to share simple impact updates and stories so you can see how your kindness becomes relief on the ground.
You can donate to an active campaign, volunteer your time/skills, sponsor kits (meals, education, hygiene), or start a peer-to-peer fundraiser. If you’d like to collaborate as an individual, group, or organisation, just reach out—this is a people-powered effort.
A receipt is issued for every donation. If a campaign is eligible for tax benefits, it will be clearly mentioned on the campaign page and in the receipt details. For any documentation you need, please contact us and we’ll assist you.
