Moonlight of Compassion: Regular Purnima Gau Seva

Support Jeevandaan Foundation in providing nourishing fodder, clean water, medical treatment and compassionate care to hungry, injured, sick and abandoned cows on every sacred Purnima.

Let Every Full Moon Bring Relief to a Gau

Purnima, the full moon day, is considered an auspicious occasion for prayer, charity and selfless service. It reminds us to bring light into the lives of those who are suffering. On this sacred day, serving Gau Mata is a meaningful way to express kindness, gratitude and devotion. Jeevandaan Foundation invites compassionate donors to participate in its Regular Purnima Gau Seva campaign and become a source of food, treatment and protection for cows in need.

Many cows living on roads and in neglected areas struggle every day to find sufficient fodder and clean drinking water. Some are old, weak or abandoned, while others suffer from injuries, infections, digestive problems and other medical conditions. Without timely assistance, their pain can increase and minor health issues may become life-threatening. Your contribution can help Jeevandaan Foundation reach these helpless cows and provide the support they urgently require.

Food, Treatment and Dignified Care

Regular Gau Seva is not limited to feeding cows for a single day. It is a continuous responsibility that includes proper nutrition, clean water, medical attention, safe shelter and loving supervision. Through this campaign, Jeevandaan Foundation works to arrange green fodder, dry fodder and other suitable food according to the needs of the cows. Clean water is also provided to protect them from dehydration, weakness and heat-related discomfort.

Injured and sick cows require special care. The foundation supports veterinary consultations, medicines, wound cleaning, dressings and essential treatment. Weak cows may also need additional nutrition and a peaceful place to recover. Every contribution received through this campaign helps the foundation continue these important services and respond to cows that cannot express their pain in words.

Why Regular Purnima Gau Seva Matters

One meal can provide temporary relief, but regular support can transform the life of a helpless cow. Monthly Purnima donations help create a dependable system for purchasing fodder, arranging treatment and maintaining daily care. This continuity is especially important for rescued, elderly and recovering cows that depend completely on human compassion.

In Indian tradition, Gau Mata represents gentleness, nourishment and selfless giving. Serving cows on Purnima is widely regarded as a noble act of compassion. However, beyond spiritual belief, Gau Seva is also a humanitarian responsibility. It protects vulnerable animals from hunger, untreated illness and avoidable suffering while promoting kindness within society.

Your Donation Can Become Their Lifeline

Your support can help provide a bundle of fodder to a hungry cow, medicines to an injured Gau Mata or clean water to several animals during difficult weather. No act of kindness is too small. When many caring individuals come together, even modest contributions can create a lasting impact.

By donating regularly on Purnima, you can help Jeevandaan Foundation plan its Gau Seva activities more effectively. Consistent support allows the team to arrange essential supplies in advance and ensure that cows continue receiving care after the sacred occasion has passed.

Join Jeevandaan Foundation in This Compassionate Mission

This Purnima, let the brightness of the full moon inspire an act of mercy. Help Jeevandaan Foundation feed hungry cows, treat injured Gau Mata and provide safe, respectful care to abandoned animals. Your donation can reduce pain, restore strength and offer a helpless cow another chance to live with dignity.

Make every Purnima meaningful—donate for Gau Seva and become a reason for nourishment, healing and hope.

Frequently Asked Questions

Jeevan Daan Foundation, conducted by Satvikdaan Charitable Trust Foundation, was founded in 2023 after a heartbreaking loss—a close friend who couldn’t afford cancer treatment. That personal tragedy became our purpose. A group of social workers with 7+ years of ground-level seva united to ensure no one is lost to neglect, hunger, or helplessness. What began with small acts has grown into a movement of compassion.

We work where the need is—slums, schools, and vulnerable neighbourhoods. Support ranges from food packets and ration kits to school supplies and vocational tools. We start with whatever we have, mobilise caring people, and deliver practical help that restores dignity and hope.

Every donation is personal to us. Funds are directed to real, time-bound needs—nutrition, basic medical help, education materials, and livelihood support like vocational tools. We aim to share simple impact updates and stories so you can see how your kindness becomes relief on the ground.

You can donate to an active campaign, volunteer your time/skills, sponsor kits (meals, education, hygiene), or start a peer-to-peer fundraiser. If you’d like to collaborate as an individual, group, or organisation, just reach out—this is a people-powered effort.

A receipt is issued for every donation. If a campaign is eligible for tax benefits, it will be clearly mentioned on the campaign page and in the receipt details. For any documentation you need, please contact us and we’ll assist you.
