A Meal of Dignity for Forgotten Mothers
Support Jeevandaan Foundation’s Regular Annadaan Seva and help provide fresh, nutritious meals to elderly and widowed women who are living with loneliness, financial hardship, and uncertainty.
She Once Fed an Entire Family
There was a time when she woke up before everyone else. She prepared meals, cared for her family, looked after the home, and made sure no one slept hungry. Her hands served food with love, and her presence gave comfort to everyone around her.
But today, many elderly and widowed mothers are spending their later years waiting for someone to care for them. With little or no regular income, limited family support, and increasing age-related difficulties, even arranging a simple daily meal can become a painful struggle.
Hunger Should Never Be Part of Old Age
Growing old should bring peace, respect, and care—not the fear of an empty plate. Yet for many widowed and elderly women, hunger is a reality they quietly face every day. Some reduce the number of meals they eat, while others depend completely on the kindness of people around them.
A nutritious meal may appear simple to us, but for an elderly mother in need, it can bring strength, comfort, and the reassurance that she has not been forgotten.
Jeevandaan Foundation’s Regular Annadaan Seva
Through its Regular Annadaan Seva, Jeevandaan Foundation is working to serve wholesome meals to elderly and widowed women who need consistent food support. This campaign is not limited to serving food on a single occasion. Its purpose is to create regular care so that vulnerable mothers can receive meals with dignity and compassion.
Every meal distributed through this seva carries more than food. It carries a message that someone still remembers them, someone still cares about their well-being, and society has not left them alone in their difficult years.
Your Support Can Fill an Empty Plate
You do not need to make a huge contribution to create an impact. Even a small act of kindness can help provide a meal to a mother who may otherwise spend her day worrying about food. When many compassionate people come together, individual contributions become a dependable source of nourishment for those who need it most.
Your support towards Annadaan can help Jeevandaan Foundation continue arranging fresh food, serving meals regularly, and reaching elderly and widowed women who are struggling to meet their basic needs.
Annadaan Is More Than Giving Food
Feeding someone who is hungry is one of the simplest yet most meaningful forms of compassion. For an elderly widow, receiving a meal with kindness can restore more than physical strength. It can bring emotional comfort, dignity, and a feeling of belonging.
These mothers may not ask for much. Sometimes, all they need is a warm meal and the feeling that someone is standing beside them.
Become a Reason for Her Smile Today
The woman who once made sure her family never remained hungry should not have to wait for food in her old age. Through Jeevandaan Foundation, you can become part of a compassionate effort that gives elderly and widowed mothers the care and nourishment they deserve.

Frequently Asked Questions
Jeevan Daan Foundation, conducted by Satvikdaan Charitable Trust Foundation, was founded in 2023 after a heartbreaking loss—a close friend who couldn’t afford cancer treatment. That personal tragedy became our purpose. A group of social workers with 7+ years of ground-level seva united to ensure no one is lost to neglect, hunger, or helplessness. What began with small acts has grown into a movement of compassion.
We work where the need is—slums, schools, and vulnerable neighbourhoods. Support ranges from food packets and ration kits to school supplies and vocational tools. We start with whatever we have, mobilise caring people, and deliver practical help that restores dignity and hope.
Every donation is personal to us. Funds are directed to real, time-bound needs—nutrition, basic medical help, education materials, and livelihood support like vocational tools. We aim to share simple impact updates and stories so you can see how your kindness becomes relief on the ground.
You can donate to an active campaign, volunteer your time/skills, sponsor kits (meals, education, hygiene), or start a peer-to-peer fundraiser. If you’d like to collaborate as an individual, group, or organisation, just reach out—this is a people-powered effort.
A receipt is issued for every donation. If a campaign is eligible for tax benefits, it will be clearly mentioned on the campaign page and in the receipt details. For any documentation you need, please contact us and we’ll assist you.
